Dr. Bagel Moderates Round Table Discussion on Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Hear Dr. Bagel’s Input During a Round Table Discussion on Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Windsor Dermatology is excited to announce that our very own Dr. Bagel was asked to speak at a round table discussion in Parsippany, NJ with several other doctors specializing in the study of dermatology. Dr. Bagel acted as the moderator alongside Drs. Donnica Moore, Lauren Orenstein, and George Han. The event, hosted by Frontline Medical Communications, focused on the skin disease, Hidradenitis Suppurativa.

Hidradenitis Suppurativa is a chronic skin disease that causes inflamed, acne-like boils to form in the folds of one’s skin. It is typically found on areas of the body where hair grows, such as the armpits or groin. It is not contagious, but can be uncomfortable and even painful, affecting one’s daily activities. There is no permanent cure for the disease; however, there are treatments that help manage the symptoms.

During the round table discussion, the doctors sit down to talk about the impact Hidradenitis Suppurativa has on quality of life, how specialty physicians can work together for improved outcomes, clinical trials, and the roles of biologics and other therapies. The discussion was recorded and broken up into four videos to share with those interested in the topic.
